Did you know that the average adult could read the entire New Testament in about fifteen hours? Spread that out over 90 days, and it works out to only ten minutes per day.
I want to spend the months of April, May, and June reading the New Testament with you. I am not following a particular translation, so you are free to use any that you like to read each day’s assigned chapters. If you are using my translation, The Word, the schedule also includes page numbers (for hardcover and paperback editions).

I love spending time with my favorite people (my wife and children), and you’ll typically find me messing with either a guitar, computer, or Rubik’s cube in my free time.
I have served in ministry with three North Mississippi congregations since 2005. I also have worked in various professional fields such as retail, management, human resources, and business analysis. This combination of experiences has helped me to see several vulnerabilities in how Christians and congregations exercise their faith in the 21st century. Most of the time this is not intentional. Often these vulnerabilities are due to a misunderstanding of faithfulness or love. Sometimes they exist because we treat the House of God like a place of business, since that is what we know.
I have developed a handful of curricula to address these areas of need and want to share them in a seminar at your congregation. These lessons are challenging and growth-inducing, and they are based on scholarly research as well as deep study of the biblical texts in their original languages.
